9 MONTH INTERNSHIP, Feb. – Oct.
Focus: Environmental Education and Nonprofit Management (Teaching/Administration)
Hours: 40 hrs/wk, flexible work schedule (February – October), Some evening/weekends required.
Compensation: This internship provides a $450 bi-weekly stipend and housing. Paid Training: Wilderness First Aid Certification.
SPRING SEMESTER INTERNSHIP, Feb. – May (must commit through May 31.)
Focus: Environmental Education (Teaching)
Hours: 40 hrs. per week with a flexible work schedule (February – May), Some evening/weekends required
Compensation: This internship is a for credit internship with housing provided. Paid Training: Wilderness First Aid Certification.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP, May – August
Focus: Environmental Education and Outdoor Recreation (Program Delivery/Teaching)
Hours: 40 hrs. per week with a flexible work schedule (May – August)
Compensation: $1,500 stipend and housing provided for the summer. Paid Training: Wilderness First Aid Certification.
All interns will also complete an independent project that may require gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, facility design, marketing, and the creation of a departmental procedures manual. Projects are mutually agreed upon and aligned with academic studies.

Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification required prior to May 30 (a course will be available at Strawberry Hill in May). Valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a license required. A criminal background check is required for all staff working with youth.
