Homeschooling, Unschooling, or Distance-Learning… no matter your path, learning should be authentic, memorable, and most of all, FUN!
The beauty of environmental education is that it provides an interactive learning experience that unlocks the imagination. And imagination, at its core, is infinite possibility. Here at Strawberry Hill, we build the emotional connection necessary to raising a new generation of environmental stewards. Our programs are fun and educational, featuring hands-on activities delivered by skilled Naturalists. All programs have been thoughtfully designed with concrete goals and objectives that conform to the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s standards.
Call our office at (717)-642-5840 or email us at education@strawberryhill.org to discuss your specific educational needs.
Bookworms Homeschool Book Club
Welcome to Bookworms, Strawberry Hill's homeschool book club!
This spring we'll read I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies, 1967, by Lauren Tarshis. During our time together, we'll read excerpts, discuss the natural world and the survival aspects of the book, and spend time with friends! We'll go for walks and complete some hands-on activities as the weather allows. This book club is open to all homeschoolers but will be primarily focused for ages 7-10. Please note that this is not a drop-off program and caregivers must remain on campus during book club.
