Tai Chi with Laurie

What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi, a graceful style of exercise, is an ancient Chinese tradition meant to balance the energy of the body and mind. The practice of tai chi is slow-paced and each posture flows into the next. When practicing tai chi you enter into a moving meditation where the focus is on breathing, imagery and mindfulness. The benefits of regularly practicing tai chi are improved mood, increased cognitive function, reduced risk of falls and increased flexibility, strength and balance. Tai chi is generally safe for all ages and abilities.
