Wolves of Pennsylvania Hike: Where fear, Mythology, and Ecology Intersect

Werewolves have haunted our imaginations for centuries. Could some of those stories be more than myth?

Join us as we walk our beloved Pennsylvania woods and unravel some of the mystery behind these often sinister tales. Hear local legends of wolf-men running wild in the trees. Discover the history of real wolves which once inhabited our forests. Explore how human fear and misunderstanding shaped our beliefs and our hunting practices and led to wild wolves’ elimination.

$10 per person. Click here to register.

Because of the nature of a nighttime hike, this event is recommended for older children who are comfortable walking in the woods at night.
