Many of us have heard about the decline of honeybees and the impact it has on our food system. However, our native bees are great pollinators and have stepped up to the plate! Master Gardener Pam Haze will talk about our native bees, how they live and how they pollinate our plants. She will talk about ways we can increase the native bee population by the types of plants we choose.
Pam Haze is a Penn State Master Gardener. She trained as a Master Gardener in 2016. Her specialty is native bees, and she continues to learn about the plant and bee interactions. Her passion is native plants and their impact on our native bee population.
